Warranty Carpenter (Columbus)
Old World Custom Homes is seeking a warranty and punch out Carpenter to assist in closing out residential construction jobs and assisting in warranty procedures after closing.
Responsibilities:
· General Carpentry / Punch Out work including a range of general carpentry items including hardware installation, building temporary steps, caulking, drywall repairs, paint, etc.
· Complete Pre-Move in checklist ensuring homes are ready for client handover.
· Troubleshoot issues in the field to resolve warranty issues in the most efficient way possible.
· Complete warranty tasks as expertise and abilities allow.
· Jobsite Cleanup
Qualifications:
· General construction knowledge and ability. General carpentry skills are required; minor trade skills (plumbing, electric) helpful.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
· Ability to closely work with field, office, and trade personnel to schedule and resolve issues.
· Good communication skills, with the ability to discuss warranty concerns with clients.
