This family home, inspired by a European Workers Cottage, is meant to be a modest farmhouse cottage that rests on this family’s rural property. The layout of the home was designed to be large enough for holiday family gatherings but also cozy for everyday living with the family. The two-story kitchen along with windows that wrap around the space were designed to capture the Sunrise and Sunset all from the kitchen, dining space, and screened in porch. The Old World Design team specifically selected natural interior and exterior finishes that will naturally patina over time and ensures that this family will spend more time enjoying each other rather than maintaining their home.
